TICIANS is a word bringing associations with a famous Venetian, a Renaissance fine artist Tiziano Vecellio and his works. Vecellio was one of few old masters whose talent was recognised while he was still alive.
It is no coincidence that we have chosen this meaningful and powerful name for our salon – TICIANS. We see fabrics as works of art. The fabrics that have visual, sensitive and comfort qualities. The fabrics that bring both modern trends and historical and cultural heritage. One can communicate with a fabric same way as with a painting. Touch it and feel it. Enjoy hinted halftones and richness of colours, fine ornamental lines and lush embroidery and surprising and extraordinary material combinations. Feel its message and magic.
For many years, the TICIANS collections have included the world famous fabric design companies: Sahco, Jab, Pierre Frey, Dedar, Nobilis, Lelievre, Thibaut, Cassaro, Tassinari&Chatel etc. At least twice a year we update our collections with new items from the international design exhibitions Maison Objet in Paris, Ambiente in Frankfurt and Decorex in London.
Ticians was founded in 2003, but its owner and creative director Baiba Pāvuliņa had been working in interior fabric design since 1996. Our creative team is made up of experienced professionals – the designers with years of experience and degrees in art. You can take advantage of our consultations on modern and historic fabrics and receive advice and recommendations for your interior design.
The projects implemented by Ticians mainly include private interiors in Latvia, Russia and Europe. Our projects also include public buildings, such as historical Maikapars House, Rīga Art Nouveau Museum, Baltic Beach Hotel, etc.
